Great connectors. Save yourself some trouble and get the Tri-Crimp tool. I crimped them for years with a regular crimper and it was always a major pain to get the contacts into the housings. They also don't snap together too tight, so if you are doing combat definitely use the Blok-Loks.

I don't think I need to explain to say how wonderful these connectors are compared to any other lipo / battery connectors out there (i.e. Deans and Traxxas). But I just want to add 2 things here about the advantages of these "45" power pole connectors: 1. 8 awg / gauge wires DOES work with these connectors. For those who has a bunch of Zipxxs or Turnxxy lipos with ridiculous 8 awg / gauge wires...you just need to trim the wire off (i.e. to the size/ thickness of a 10 awg / gauge wire). I use 8 gauge wires on these all the time and it takes me about 2-3 mins to do each wires. Still faster and cleaner than soldering and the connection is no doubt SECURE! 2. For folks running 1/8 buggies / truggies, this is heaven for you (well pretty much anybody uses these know but anyway so I am mentioning to those new to these connectors). Without modifying anything on your ESC power pole connectors, you can easily switch between single pack to 2 to 3 to 4 or to whatever # of packs(you get the idea). All you need is extra wire with power pole connectors on both sides to connect your batteries in series or in parallel. There are many good stuff about these connectors and so easy to use.....if you worry about polarity issue, just connect the 2 (red and black) connectors in perpendicular to each other. Bad / Cons ? - None really, you may find the "45" PP connectors may be a little big for your small scale RC vehicle (i.e. 1/18 trucks/buggy). Also you may be concern about the connection being loose?? So far I never heard any of this problem on forums and people have been using these for years. But if you're so concern and particular like myself, you can always buy the retention clips cheap and the "bok lok" clips? (forgot the name but pretty much another type of PP retention clip)

fine

you can't beat the Anderson power pole conectors for safety or ease of use. lit athe above review sats, get a good crimper that will do the 15, 30, and 45 amp poles and your set for just about anything the RC hobby can throw at you.
