I'm using this BEC to power my reciever and an 805 giant scale servo from a 12 volt battery. So far so good! It's silent, runs cool, and does the job for a great price.

The one I received outputs 5.56v, too high for the what I was going to run off it. Other than the specs being off it seems to work, but I have nothing to really test it with.

This little BEC saved me alot of weight on my 30lb combat robot @ Motorama. Thanks to Robot Marketplace for your years of great service.

I used this BEC with a large 1/4 scale steering servo on a R/C Truck and it works great!

Working fine for me.

Cons:
I am using it to drive an R/C receiver and a single servo with a 9.6V NiCd battery pack power source. It is performing fine for me. I have not tested it at its full current rating. (I am driving less than 1 Amp with it). As a switching regulator, I am happy with its ability to run cool (it is sealed in a water tight enclosure).

Working fine for me.
