RETURNS, SHIPPING, SUPPORT & TAX INFORMATION

The Robot MarketPlace acts as a storefront for several vendors, as well as sourcing from our own inventory. Therefore, some products listed in this MarketPlace may have been manufactured, warrantied and shipped by a third party.

Returns

There are NO returns on electronics items or on custom, made-to-order items (especially custom battery packs and cut metal products), unless there is a manufacturing defect. No returns will be accepted on items that have been modified or damaged by the buyer. Returns WILL NOT be considered if customer has been in possession of the item for 60 days or more. All returns must be pre-approved and be clearly labeled with a provided RMA number. Please contact us to find out if your item may qualify for a return. Returned merchandise is subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.

Cancellations

You may cancel all or part of your order at any time. However, on credit card orders, we must charge a 3% cancellation fee. This fee will not be implemented if there was a delay due to backordered items or late shipping, or if the cancellation is received before 3pm of the same day that the order was placed. PayPal, mail order, and purchase order cancellations will not be subject to cancellation fees. To avoid fees, please be certain that what you order is actually what you need.

Availability

You can view an item's stock status on each product's page. "In Stock" means that we have the item on our shelves at our Florida warehouse, ready to ship, and the inventory quantities should be listed alongside the product - these numbers are automatically updated on the site several times a day. (By the way, YES we do offer in-store pickup from our store in Bradenton, FL. If you place an order online and want to pick up in-store, we will refund your shipping. )"Limited Quantities" means we have some, but may run out soon. "Available" typically means this is a drop-shipped item from one of our distributors- these are usually stocked items, but since our distributors cannot directly share their stock status on every one of these products, we cannot guarantee the stock status of these. If you want to check stock status of any "Available" item, please email or call us, but for the most part, these can also be considered as stocked items. "Backordered" means that we have run out of the item, but more are on the way. "Discontinued" means that the item is no longer available. Some items may be marked "Special Order". These items may take some time to manufacture, or need to be shipped to us from the manufacturer first. These items typically can take a bit longer to arrive, so be sure to place your "Special Order" items early.

Shipping Prices

Please note that when you've placed items into the Robot MarketPlace shopping cart, you are actually getting an ESTIMATE for shipping & handling based on your entered zip code. Your actual shipping amount may go up or down slightly before your order is processed, especially if your order is being shipped from multiple locations or if it is shipping outside the continental USA. That said, our cart is pretty accurate in estimating actual shipping costs. If you would like a shipping quote in advance, email us a list of items along with your shipping address, and we will send you a quote.

Shipping Methods

We primarily ship by USPS, FedEx, or UPS depending on size, weight, expedite request, and distributor preference. Usually you will have multiple shipping method choices available at the time of checkout. Robot MarketPlace reserves the right to select a shipping method that will be most convenient and beneficial for the fast delivery of the package to the customer. If you know you cannot receive a package via a particular carrier, it might be good to note this in the order notes, so we won't modify your shipping method from your selection. Overnight shipping on "In Stock" items is available by FedEx, USPS Express Mail, or UPS Next Day service.

Tracking Numbers

When your order ships, whether partially or in full, you will receive an automated email with your tracking information. Split-ship orders and drop-ship orders may not always send out tracking numbers, depending on if the drop-ship vendor has notified us of the tracking. If you do not receive a tracking number for all or part of your order, you can email us or call to check your order's status. Note that sometimes our cart will send a tracking number for your entire order, even though it was only partially shipped. If this happens, you will receive another tracking number when the remaining items ship.

Sales Tax

Due to a software limitation of our shopping cart service, our shopping cart will NOT automatically add sales tax to your order if you are outside of Florida and you are purchasing an item that is drop-shipped from outside of Florida. We may need to manually this state sales tax on some items if your shipping address and the drop shipper sending your item are in the same state. We are located in Florida, and some of our distributors ship from California, Nevada, Minnesota, as well as several other states. If you live in one of these states, we may need to add sales tax to all or part of your order. If this is the case, you should receive an email notification when we process your order, stating that we need to add the sales tax. If your business or organization is tax exempt, or if you are purchasing with intent to resell, we request that you include your state Tax ID number in the 'Special Instructions' field upon checkout.

International Shipping

Yes, we ship internationally. However, actual shipping cost may vary depending on method of shipping and destination country. Our cart is usually pretty accurate estimating international shipping, but amounts may change on a case-by-case basis. If the shipping comes out higher, we will let you know after your order is processed that additional shipping may need to be collected.

We have an order form. We require information from the user on our order form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and possibly financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). If we have trouble processing an order, we use the information to contact the user. This information is used:

  • to fill customer´s orders.

When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server. You can see that you are on our secure server by the 'lock' icon showing in the menubar or footer of your browser.

We publish a newsletter, and we never sell or share our subscribers' email addresses. Newsletter subscription is completely voluntary.

We conduct occasional online surveys, and we never sell or share our subscribers' email addresses. We will not provide third parties with your data without your express permission.

Tech support questions about any particular product or problems with the shopping cart sytem may be submitted by Email (help@robotmarketplace.com), we may redirect your query to a third party vendor if we cannot answer the question directly.

The Robot MarketPlace works closely with all our vendors to maintain up-to-date product listings and prices, and we will ensure satisfaction in all transactions that take place through the Robot MarketPlace. In the event of any disagreements or dissatisfaction, The Robot MarketPlace will work with consumer and vendor to come to an optimal resolution for all parties involved.
