ULTRALIGHT ANTWEIGHT PACKAGE
This package is intended to get you jump-started, saving you the time involved in hunting around for all the right parts before even starting to build.

These parts are selected to work well for a four-wheel-drive, 1 pound robot. With this complete package, you will have all the main components ready to go*. Simply hook everything together, and you'll be driving your bot around soon!

For a battle-ready antweight, all you'll need to provide on your own, beyond this package, are the following items (all of which you could pick up at your local hardware store and electronics store):

- Fasteners (nuts, bolts and wire connectors) Don't be afraid to use hot glue or even duct tape on your antweight!
- A weapon (optional)

 

Ultralight Antweight Chassis
Looking for a perfect solution for a rugged, low-profile and light-weight Antweight (1 pound) robot chassis? You've just found what you need.

These Antweight Chassis are just what you need to incorporate all the components into one compact, one-piece chassis, with integrated motor supports, wheel guards, and large center bay for your electronics. A full 4 wheel drive mobility base can built for only a few ounces.

These Chassis were designed for use with the Sanyo NA-series gearmotors, usually in 4WD configuration.The new Treaded Drive Base Kit is used to make your own treaded robot powered by four motors. This new base design incorperates the new motor mount design which uses a wide screw head to securely mount the motor.

1 acrylic laser cut lid kit with screws (not shown)

Ultra-Light Wheels
If you need more options than treads can offer, we offer a selection of wheels that will fit with the Treaded Drive Base Kit. These are some great, grippy and very light wheels (only about 2 grams each!). Choose from several different styles. You get a set of four (4) wheels, which will press right onto the Sanyo motor output shaft. Read more about these wheels here.
50:1 Micro Geared Motors x4
These are some of the lightest gearmotors you can find, and yet they are incredibly powerful at a great speed. They fit perfectly with the Ultralight Wheels above. This package includes four (4) of these motors. Read more about these motors here.
Sabertooth 5 Speed Controller
To control the above motors, you need a good speed controller. This dual channel controller hooks to both motors and your radio receiver together, providing single stick operation without an expensive transmitter with an onboard computer. This controller includes two soldered RC connectors as pictured. Read more about this controller here.
7.4V LiPoly battery
This Antweight kit will run great with this 7.4V, 2 cell, 730mAh Thunderpower Lithium-Polymer battery pack. This is a great, high quality and very lightweight battery. Read more about these batteries here. Please note you MUST use a LiPoly charger for this battery!

GWS GWT-4A 75Mhz Radio Control System
You need a good radio to drive your antweight robot. As a great, simple-to-use 4 Channel FM Surface Radio System, this radio is a great start for beginner or those on a budget. It is our lowest-priced radio system, but doesn't lack in power. Read more about this system here.

GWS 4-Channel Pico Receiver
This is the very tiny GWS 75Mhz 4-channel receiver that is taking the small combat robot world by storm. Tiny and very lightweight at only 4.4 grams! Also tested in many combat robots and is extremely shock-resistant. Futaba negative shift style. Read more about this receiver here.

GWS Crystals
These are the crystals you will need to use with the above radio system and receiver.

If you order your system with "No channel Preference", we will randomly select a channel number for you from those we have in stock. Although we strive to have all the channels in stock, some may be special order, and may take up to a week to arrive.

Please be sure to deselect the crystals if you upgrade to a 2.4GHz system.

EFlite Celectra LiPoly Battery Charger
You need a special charger to recharge LiPoly batteries. This charger is a great inexpensive solution. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have selected an 11.1V battery pack instead of the standard 7.4V, you need to upgrade to the 1-3 Celectra, 109, 2500, or Triton charger! Read more about these chargers here.
Astroflight 12.5A Power Supply
To power the above charger off a standard AC outlet, you need a DC Power Supply. This inexpensive and compact solution will power your charger wherever you can plug into a standard household outlet. Read more about this power supply here.
