ADVANCED ROBOT STARTER PACKAGE
So you're ready to move up and build killer robot, and you're not afraid to spend a little more to get the best parts. This package is intended to get you jump-started, saving you the time (and money) involved in hunting around for all the right parts before even starting to build.

These parts are selected to work well for a two wheel drive MIDDLEWEIGHT (120 pound), or a two wheel drive HEAVYWEIGHT (220lb) robot. Add two more motors and upgrade your speed controller to go with four wheel drive. With this complete package, you will have all the main components ready to go*. Simply hook everything together on your own platform or chassis, and you'll be driving your bot around soon!

To complete your bot, beyond this package, you'll need the additional items (most of which you could pick up at your local hardware store and electronics store):

- Batteries (we would include with this package, but there are too many choices)
- A metal or wood baseplate and/or frame
- Armor
- Fasteners (nuts, bolts and wire connectors)
- A weapon (optional)

Two NPC Gearmotor/Hub/Wheel Assemblies
These powerful T-64 motors are some of the most popular in the Robot Combat builder community, and for good reason. Two of these motors are powerful enough to drive a 220 pound robot at fairly decent speeds without much effort. 4 of them would make for a killer 4WD bot. These assemblies come with two gearmotors, two adapter hubs to fit to the wheels, and two foam-filled, flat-proof 10" wheel/tire combos. See the full specifications on these motors here.

Vantec Dual Channel Speed Controller
To control the above motors, you need a pair of speed controllers. The Vantec RDFR33 is a perfect choice, as it is two controllers in one box! You simply wire the outputs to each motor, then hook up your receiver wires and battery wires. If you want to go with 4 Wheel Drive, we recommend you upgrade to the RDFR36E or RDFR47E. Read more about the Vantec here.

Astroflight 112 Deluxe battery charger
With this charger, you can
simultaneously charge both of the above battery packs if you hook them in series, or if you want faster charging, you might consider getting two 112 Deluxe Chargers- one for each battery pack. Don't forget that you either need to add a power supply for this charger, or you need to run it off a car battery source. Read more about this charger here.
12.5 Amp Astroflight DC Power Supply
You need a DC Power Supply to provide input voltage to the charger above. If you select not to get this, you'll need to run your charger(s) off of a 12V car battery. Get 2 of these if you get 2 chargers. Read more about this power supply here.
Spektrum DX6 Radio Control System
This radio control system is one of the best radios out there. And it is fully compatible with most rules for radio controllers at robot competitions. It does away with the old 72/75Mhz band, and brings 2.4Ghz to the scene. Once bound to your receiver, only your radio can communicate with your robot. Comes with a BR6000 receiver. Read more about this radio system here.

100 amp Master Power Switch
You have to be able to turn your robot on and off, this is one of the best switches you can use, and it will handle up to 5000amps surge, so you shouldn't have to worry about it once it's installed. Read more about the switch here.
30 feet of Wet Noodle Wire
You'll need to run wire between your motors, speed controllers, power switch, and batteries. This package includes 15 feet of red and 15 feet of black (total 30 feet) of 12-gauge high-performance Wet Noodle wire. Read more about the wire here.

Base Price: $1629
