A tight-fitting and small-size (13 x 8mm) connector with very low loss. Rated number 1 by R/C Car Action, The Ultra Plug actually has less resistance, including the solder joints, than an equivalent length piece of 12 gauge wire.

Good for up to 80 Amps.

One package contains two connectors- one Male, one Female, and a piece of heat-shrink tubing.

The best connector I have ever used

I have been building robots for 5 or so years now. I started with Tamiya connectors, then moved to Anderson, now to Deans. What an improvement, the best connectors by far. Soldering them is easy and the hold is very good I have never had one fail on me yet. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I have larger hands and it is tricky trying to separate them apart at times, but never the less still the best!!!!

I first started using these back in around 1994 on my RC buggie. My brother Dean and I saw them at our local hobby store in Fla and for fun because of the name "Deans" we tried them. NO MORE melted plugs after a hard run. We went back and got enough to do all are battery packs. They are the only battery connectors we use.

These deans connectors are great we use them in all of our robots, where we have ran upwards of 120 amps through them. The only downside with these name brand connectors is the price.
