This kit is an educational electronic kit. It's designed for experimenters with some experience in assembling kits with small parts. Four D-size batteries are needed.

With Robotic Arm Edge, command the gripper to open and close. It has wrist motion of 120 degrees, an extensive elbow range of 300 degrees, base rotation of 270 degrees, base motion of 180 degrees, vertical reach of 15 inches, horizontal reach of 12.6 inches, and lifting capacity of 100g. Some of the added features include a search light design on the gripper and a safety gear audible indicator is included on all five gear boxes to prevent any potential injury or gear breakage during operation. Night time play is possible and extended life on the gearbox to prolong your control and predictions of the robot's behavior.

Very happy with my purchase and the prompt delivery.
As a Mechanical Engineer, I found the kit very easy to put together and am very pleased with the finished result and its operation.
For members of the public who aren't Engineers, fear not! The instruction book is very clear and well written and the components are well laid out in the box. All that's required is a can of oil and some uninterrupted time to build it.
As a final point and one that stands out for me is at the front of the instruction book, there is an order form and details of individual components for the arm that can be ordered separately to replace worn parts thus providing longevity for your purchase.

Speedy delivery of well packed order.

Construction manual explicit,well illustrated and accurate. No problems were encounted.

Robotic arm worked perfectly on first attempt and continues to do so.

It is an excerllent product.I heartily recommend it.

OWI Robotic Arm Edge

As the product purchased by me I have the following observations:

1 - The packaging is far greater, as it arrived in Brazil in good condition

2 - The parts that make up the kit comes well packed and in the manual there is a check list fairly detailed and accurate mentioning the quantities and prices per item

3 - The manual has details of assembly impotante that there are no errors or problems in the final assembly of the kit.

Anyway I am happy and as soon as I have time I will initiate the assembly of this kit.
